Pink and Marshmallow are two of my favorite things in the world. As Pinkmarshmallow is a passion project of mine which I started while battling several health issues, I feel like this name represents who I am, as my passion project continues to evolve and as I discover and develop different interests and hobbies.
Pinkmarshmallow started with static art. Prior working with a community treatment team, I never even knew I had a creative side.
But the team encouraged me to try out different activities...and...
Art is therapy.
Having been grappled with autism, mental health struggles and all the associated communication barriers, I've found art to be a creative outlet to channel my thoughts, mental images, likes, dislikes, the daily goings-on onto something other people can visualize. Pinkmarshmallow has become a sanctuary where communication boundaries are transcended.
As fate would have it, amidst the chaos of health issues and uncertain tomorrows, dreams still burn. It was in these moments of vulnerability that my imagination and creativity truly began to unleash.

"Daddy-Long-Legs" is a really heart-warming and inspiring book written by Jean Webster. It came out a long time ago, in 1912, but it’s still fun to read today. The story is about a girl named Jerusha Abbott, but everyone calls her Judy. Judy has lived in an orphanage called the John Grier Home for her whole life.
One day, Judy’s life changes in a big way. A trustee of the orphanage, who is a very rich and mysterious man, decides to pay for her to go to college! This is super exciting because Judy has always dreamed of learning more and seeing the world outside the orphanage. The man wants to stay anonymous, so Judy doesn't know who he is. She only sees his tall shadow and decides to call him "Daddy-Long-Legs."
There is one catch: Judy has to write a letter to Daddy-Long-Legs every month to tell him how she's doing in school and what’s happening in her life. But he won’t write back or reveal his true identity. So, Judy starts writing her letters, and that’s how the whole story is told – through these funny and honest letters.
At first, college is tough for Judy. She feels out of place because all the other girls come from rich families and have had lots of opportunities. But Judy is smart, and she works really hard. She makes new friends, like Sallie McBride, who is super nice, and Julia Pendleton, who is a bit snobby but interesting. Judy writes about everything: her classes, her friends, her struggles, and her dreams. She even shares her thoughts on the books she reads and the stories she writes.
As Judy writes more letters, we see her grow up and become more confident. She starts to love writing and hopes to become an author someday. She also learns about independence and starts thinking about what she wants to do with her life. Judy's letters are full of humor and personality, making them really fun to read.
